Speech Title:
Rapid 3D Printing of Nano-bots
Abstract:
We developed a microscale rapid 3D printing platform – microscale continuous optical printing (μCOP) to create multi-functional nanobots including a liver-mimic detoxification device and an artificial micro-fish. Biocompatible hydrogels were used to encapsulate functional nanoparticles into biomimetic designs with controlled distribution. The liver-mimic device can remove toxins with 100% efficiency. The hydrogel microfish were integrated with self-propelled, magnetically guided swimming capabilities as well as sensing and detoxification functions.
